Readiness extends to technical infrastructure, including verified storage capacity of at least 80 terabytes with redundant backups located within the state to comply with data residency preferences. Institutions without existing memberships in the Tennessee Digital Library consortium must establish them prior to submission, adding six to nine months to project startup. Equipment inventories require serial numbers and calibration dates for scanners rated at 600 dpi or higher.
Collaborative proposals with the Tennessee State Library and Archives receive priority when they include joint training sessions for staff across multiple repositories.
