This funding supports construction of cold-storage hubs and electric delivery fleets only when site plans demonstrate 12-month produce availability metrics and integrate with existing Tennessee Department of Health nutrition programs. Applications must include parcel-level mapping against current food access layers.
Unlike Kentucky applications, Tennessee requires demonstration of extreme rural delivery capacity due to frontier county designation and aquifer depletion rates.
