Tennessee nonprofit clubs must align project locations with county-level economic distress designations published by the Appalachian Regional Commission. Nashville-Davidson County contains multiple census tracts ranked as economically distressed, while surrounding counties such as Trousdale and Hickman qualify under the same metric. Clubs must serve at least one distressed county and provide the most recent ARC county list as an attachment.
Tennessee-registered 501(c)(3) organizations submit the Secretary of State certificate of existence and a current list of board members. Facility agreements must come from Metro Nashville Public Schools or equivalent rural district offices. Budgets are capped at $2,500 with separate lines for equipment and coach stipends.
